Pet turf projects start below the surface. Tell us how many animals use the area, whether it is indoors or outdoors, and how you will remove waste and rinse the surface. A residential dog run and a shared relief area have different usage and maintenance needs.

- Plan access to water and a practical route for cleaning runoff.
- Discuss secure edges, existing odour issues and the frequency of use.
Follow the water beneath the surface.
Include the surface beneath the turf and any drains in your enquiry. On a patio or roof, the building system and permission to discharge cleaning water need their own review. A turf product alone does not resolve drainage or cleaning constraints.
Will pet turf be maintenance-free?
No. Waste removal and product-appropriate cleaning remain necessary. Request care instructions for the entire proposed system and discuss your cleaning routine before choosing.
